IBM Stock Analysis
In my previous analyses, I shared that stocks will fall back to 178$.
Stocks have closed the week at 173$. I’m expecting selling pressure to continue on the stocks. My first resistance point is 177.4 and my first support point is 171.5.
For my CFDs operations, I see the elevations as sales opportunities. I will maintain my position to sell at 158.
I don’t expect these stocks that raised by 10$ in a short time to rise further. They may be rise for only 5$ more. Stocks that closed at 126.4 may reach to the 132$ level. But this won’t be a permanent elevation. Lowering of the margin of profit in the sector could cause stocks to fall back to 110$ level.
In May 1st of 1969, AMD is founded by a team who left Fairchild Semiconductor. Its founder and first general manager is Jerry Sanders. By 2005, chairman of the board is Dr. Hector Ruiz. ATI that they bought in the summer of 2006, increased the power and expanded the market of the company.
Despite of the advencements, AMD couldn’t hold on to the technology market. Before they purchased ATI, AMD stocks were priced between $20 and $27. With the purchase of ATI, stocks were raised from 25$ to 42$ in 2 months.
When real estates in USA were getting cheaper in 2006, stock prices were down to 35$. Since I don’t know about the sectors in those days, it wouldn’t be right for me to comment on those days.
Stocks are traded at 3.5$ now. In November 2012, stocks were down to 1.85$.
The saying “You can’t fight technology” is proven again. Companies that are not innovative are condemned to lose.
5.5$ is our resistance point for the stocks. In the last quarter of 2013, stocks may drop to the 2.75 level. When it is at 2.75$, it can strike to create a dynamic for 5.5. Capital could be increased or the company could be up for sale.
Innovative what do you mean. AMD is innovative, and intel always copies them . 64bit, intel copied, APU intel is copied. hex core processor, intel copied. Intel haven’t done anything on it’s own ..if it was not for AMD Intel would of fallen long time ago. Intel is using AMD since the 90′s. Paid companies to disregard AMD and not use them. That hurt AMD big so time will come when AMD will hit intel, and it’s here.
Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.
